When it debuted in 2007, is was suggested that the Toyota FT-HS (Future Toyota Hybrid Sport) might fill the void left by the iconic turbocharged sports coupe. Toyota, however, suggests that this is not the case, but rather that the FT-HS will create a new market segment for an “attainable exotic,” with prices slated to start around the mid-$30,000 range.
