Fiat Panda 4x4 versus Gelandewagen

An Austrian reader reminded us that Steyr Daimler Puch not only produced the Mercedes G-wagen, but also the drivetrain for the first generation Fiat Panda 4x4.  I couldn't find any decent videos of a Mark I Panda 4x4, but here is a comparison between the Mark II and a diesel Mercedes G-wagen.
